Software Utilization
The Challenge:
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra was looking to improve its overall usage and understanding of the Tessitura software application across the organization.
The Solution:
KlearSky provided the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) executive leadership critical insight on how the Tessitura Application is being utilized across the organization. The Tessitura Utilization Assessment made an immediate positive impact for a number of CSO departments and roles.
Summary:
The Tessitura Utilization Assessment took five weeks to complete for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO). Over twenty (20) employees were involved across all levels of the organization resulting in a non-biased, comprehensive, user assessment for the organization. Each employee was encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions to KlearSky regarding system stability, user training, software utilization, system limitations, etc. KlearSky consolidated the findings into a well crafted set of action items to improve the overall software utilization.

Next, KlearSky executed a full audit of the Tessitura configuration. This included a review of system configuration, security setup, and system table definitions. By comparing the configuration against a set of best practice recommendations, KlearSky was able to quickly provide new and meaningful changes to the setup.

Finally, KlearSky provided two additional documents: Tessitura quick hits and CSO road map. The Tessitura quick hits document provided the CSO a set of easy updates that would show an immediate positive impact to the CSO staff. The road map, on the other hand, was a document and timeline to assist with the long term Tessitura initiatives and goals.
